NB. Due to new Covid19 entertainment regulations of June 2020, the previously scheduled ‘Murder Mystery Lunch’ was changed to The Golden Age of Travel Lunch – an equally wonderful experience – but without the required brain power!! We hope to resurrect the Murder Mystery in 2021 – so watch this space…..
Whatever the occasion – from a special birthday or anniversary, a thank you or just a much-needed treat after the stresses and isolation caused by the pandemic (with all the money you’ve saved, you can afford it!) find out just why this train has such a fabulous reputation.
Revel in luxury and nostalgia whilst gliding through the glorious English countryside. Enjoy a delicious freshly prepared 5-course meal served with champagne and wine by attentive, liveried stewards.
Special gifts and treats do not get much better than this, so why not pamper yourself or a loved one, to this ‘Once-in-a-Lifetime’ Away-Day.
2021 will be our 9th Luxury Away-Day experience on this beautiful train, which I can promise you is like no other in the world and I am sure you will come home with some wonderful memories!
We invite you to step aboard the famous Belmond British Pullman train for a day of fun, adventure and nostalgia, with a few surprises thrown in!
Part of Belmond British Pullman Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, it’s the world’s most famous train. With its beautifully restored marquetry, crystal glass and deep upholstered armchairs, the Pullman carriages provide a unique and original setting for all kinds of social occasions.
Once board one of the exquisite vintage carriages, you will be whisked back in time to the 1920s and a taste of the high-life whilst savouring exceptional cuisine, fine wines & bubbly. Glamour, fun and a dash of adventure are all part of this fabulous day out. There will even be a prize for the best outfit depicting days gone by!
As each carriage, dates from the 1920s & 1930s and is staffed by the Pullman’s famous, loyal and immaculately liveried stewards, you will relish the majestic comfort of a sumptuous armchair whilst admiring the intricate marquetry, woven brass luggage racks, gleaming crystal and silken lampshades that transport you back to a more gracious age. ‘Travel’ was so much more than just simply to arrive!
As usual, our luxury transport will whisk you off to London from four local pick-ups. Glamour and excitement builds at Victoria Station in London as you arrive for refreshments in the Orient Express lounge on platform 2, ready to be met by your personal steward aboard a stately carriage.
Places will be limited as usual, so we urge you to express your interest as soon as possible and make 2021 YOUR special year!
