CHRISTMAS AT THE RITZ – AFTERNOON TEA with a glass of champagne.
During the Christmas season (from 18 November until 01 January 2025), Festive Afternoon Tea will once again be taken in the newly renovated Palm Court.
The perfect way to celebrate
During the Christmas season, traditional Afternoon Tea in The Palm Court will be given a festive twist. You can enjoy with your family or friends, a choice of 18 different types of loose-leaf tea, servings of delicate finger sandwiches, delicious pastries, mince pies, mouth-watering Christmas cakes and freshly made scones with Cornish clotted cream & strawberry preserve, with a glass of Glass Barons de Rothschild “Reserve Ritz” Brut NV Champagne, whilst listening to the glorious sounds of The Ritz choir singing well-known carols. Cheers!
A sparkling event
The Palm Court will be transformed into an Edwardian winter wonderland, surrounded by rich red and gold trimmings and a beautiful lavishly decorated Christmas tree, making it feel enchanting.
Gratuities are at your discretion. The Ritz prides itself in delivering the highest of service standards and maintaining traditional values by not including a service charge. Tips of course are always welcome if you are happy with your experience. The normal tip is around 12.5% (£14pp) these days and as it is such a wonderful experience with impeccable service, it’s a good idea to have some ‘notes’ handy in your purse!
YOUR DAY WILL BEGIN from your preferred local pick-up on our luxury executive coach. You will be whisked up to London and dropped off in Piccadilly, where you can enjoy some CHristmas retail-therapy at your favourite stores, or totally relax in and around Piccadilly before taking your seat in the Palm Court at your allocated time of either 13:30 or 15:30. You wil enjoy an exquisite Champagne Christmas Afternoon Tea, admire the famous Ritz Christmas Tree in the foyer and of course the beautiful decorations adorning The Ritz, before leaving London at around 1745.
Please see the provisional itinerary below for full details.
