Celebrate the start of the Christmas season with an Away-Day to Sussex for a  ‘feel-good stroll’ through the beautiful illuminated gardens of Leonardslee!

We are excited to offer you this exciting last-minute Away-Day to help you celebrate and experience a very different Christmas in 2020. 

Featuring enchanting outdoor Christmas light & lantern displays throughout the gardens, a silver moon floating above the lake and large scale projections onto Leonardslee House, you will feel as though you’re on another planet – free from the stresses and strains of Covid!

Marvel at the musical and theatrical performances and shop in a festive CHRISTMAS MARKET offering a mixture of artisan produce, Christmas decorations, ornaments, real Christmas trees, unique gift ideas and stocking fillers – there’s something for the whole family. Cash only please.

The market is open from 4.30  to 9.30 pm, so you will have plenty of time before our entry time at 17:45pm

NEW FOR 2020 – There will also be a spectacular live music show in front of Leonardslee House with interactive projections and pathways of Fire and Flame!

1330      Arrive Castle Hotel, Bramber for a leisurely lunch 
1500      Leave Bramber     
1600      Arrive Leonnardslee Gardens for time to browse Christmas Markets until 1635
1645      Timed entry to Garden Illuminations
               NB. We are advised that the trail normally takes between 60 – 90 minutes to explore, giving you extra time to take some refreshment and finish browsing the                   Christmas stalls

Coach seats are filled on a first come first served basis from the back forward at each stop to adhere to Covid-19 restrictions. Couples & friends (up to 6) will normally be seated together if boarding together at the same pick-up. Solo travellers offside, couples/friends/bubbles of 2, nearside.
Solent Events & Leisure reserve the right to alter the final tour itinerary as necessary if circumstances change beyond their control.

Ticket refund protection is available to purchase when you buy your tickets. You can request a refund if you are unable to attend due to unexpected illness (including COVID-19 or self-isolation) or specified unforeseen circumstances.
We have:

  • Reduced the number of tickets on sale within each time slot and added additional event dates to allow ample space for social distancing

  • Improved ticket entry systems to minimize queue times

  • Revised the trail route to manage visitor flow and enable safe social distancing

  • Enhanced our cleaning measures and installed hand sanitisation stations

  • Stewards to monitor and control the number of visitors at any one time allowed within covered spaces and introduced additional ventilation and one way flow within the market marquee
