A Taste of
THE PUDDING CLUB

& BLENHEIM PALACE
CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

Sunday 25 November 2018
3 days

The Pudding Club’s heartfelt mission since it started in 1985 has been to preserve the Great British Pudding and owners, the Three Ways House Hotel has succeeded in their mission! Every Friday evening, national and international visitors come to the little Cotswold village to experience this slightly eccentric institution  ….. and we will have a taste of this institution during an exclusive Solent Events Short Break in November.

Guests like to tell friends that they have taken part in a Pudding Club® meeting and that they have stayed in a pudding-themed bedroom too. After all, where else can you sleep surrounded by images of Syrup Sponge or Spotted Dick and Custard?!

Guests at Pudding Club® ‘meetings’ enjoy a whole evening’s entertainment, from a jovial introduction by The Pudding Master on Fridays & Saturdays) through to a light main course followed by the reason guests gather – the Parade of Seven Puddings, with all its noise and ceremony, to the vote for best pudding of the night over coffee. Guests depart late in the evening, with certificates in hand!

Pudding Club® meetings have been likened to many things but a couple of comments have amused us: ‘Like making love in a thunderstorm’‘It’s like a medieval banquet with custard’, and it has even been described as ‘The eighth wonder of the world’. Visitors to a Pudding Club® meeting will understand that the evening is about indulgence, fun and being a bit naughty too, so come prepared!

The AA Rosette award winning Three Ways House Restaurant is situated in the Cotswolds, in the picturesque village of Mickleton, Chipping Campden. It’s open every evening to non-residents for dinner and offers a delicious menu using fresh, seasonal produce, sourced from in and around Chipping Campden and Gloucestershire wherever possible. Dinner, bed & breakfast are included for two nights. Coffee & tea served after each dinner.

After a good nights’ rest in one of the comfortable bedrooms, a  breakfast buffet is served in the Restaurant with a tempting range of hot and cold items, including bacon, black pudding, local butchers’ sausages & free range eggs.  Homemade Granola, a selection of seasonal poached fruits, yoghurts, fresh fruits, pastries and everything you need to set you up for the day is on offer. If you fancy a kipper or porridge you can enjoy those too, cooked for you on request.

There are 48 individually styled bedrooms. Each bedroom has a shower and/or bath and is equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, remote control TV, radio, direct dial phone and free Wi-Fi. All rooms are non–smoking.

During our Short Break we will also have the opportunity of visiting Blenheim Palace and their famous Christmas Lights.
