HOUSE ON COLD HILL

Wednesday 29 April 2020
The Mill at Sonning Dinner Theatre, near Reading

THE HOUSE ON COLD HILL by Peter James is a modern-day thriller, adapted for the stage by Shaun Mckenna. If, like me, you are a Peter James fan, you may have read the book ….

Following the incredible sell-out stage success of Not Dead EnoughThe Perfect Murder and Dead Simple, the No. 1 best-selling author Peter James is back with this spine-tingling new play, being performed at the Mill at Sonning Dinner Theatre from 23 April 2020.

It is a ghostly story of the Harcourt family, who move into the house of their dreams that has been empty for the last forty years. However, their dream home quickly turns into the stuff of nightmares as they begin to wonder whether they may not be the only residents at Cold Hill…

The House on Cold Hill is a modern-day supernatural thriller that will send shivers down your spine and make you think twice about returning home to a dark, empty house after the show, so make sure you leave the lights on!

Please don’t miss the chance of visiting one of our Solent Events’ favourite small theatres in the country situated right next to George Clooney’s UK house at Sonning Eye on the River Thames (he is also a patron of the theatre and is often seen at the Mill).
On arrival, you will be dropped off nin the car park, right in front of the theatre. You will have time for a stroll along the river, or relax in the atmospheric Watermill Bar for a drink before dinner. A delicious 2-course meal is served in the restaurant on the first floor – a hot buffet main and a served dessert and coffee/tea.
It is the most delightful theatre and you will be as enthralled as we always are!

Tickets will sell fast, so book yours now – they make great gifts for Christmas!
