The Tina Turner Musical

Thursday 20 September 2018

at  Aldwych Theatre, London – evening perfomance

SORRY, SOLD OUT – New date 30 January 2019

As this fantastic NEW Musical proved so popular in April, Solent Events has  managed to book a SECOND date for the WORLD PREMIERE of this long-awaited rock musical which opened in April 2018 at the Aldwych Theatre, London.

So, if you missed out in our April trip to London when the tickets just went ‘out of the door’, you now have another chance to ‘strut your stuff’ to Tina’s life story and enormous 5-decade repertoire of 100 million records worldwide hits – from her early success with grammy award winning A Fool in Love & It’s Gonna Work Out Fine to River Deep – Mountain High, What’s Love Got to Do With It, We Don’t Need Another Hero & Let’s Stay Together!

We already know a few details about Tina – The Musical, as the show is based on Tina turbulent singing career with Ike and her acting role with Mel Gibson in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome but did anyone know that it was actually Tina who showed Mick Jagger how to move!. They hung around with friend David Bowie, all the time – the “brothers I never had” she called them.

Rock’n’roll legend Tina, was renowned for her stage presence – from humble beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee, to her transformation into the global Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Tina Turner didn’t just break the rules, she rewrote them. This brand new stage musical reveals the untold story of a woman who dared to defy the bounds of her age, gender and race – and still does!

You just don’t miss this world premiere, opening at London’s Aldwych Theatre in March 2018, so make sure you book your tickets as soon as possible as this show is sure to be a sell-out!

What Our Customers Are Saying

Don’t just take it from us, let our customers do the talking!

We so enjoyed ourselves on Tuesday Lin, and it was a “mystery” right up until 3pm – well done. I’m so glad I found Solent Events. It’s so much more fun going with other like-minded people & takes the responsibility out of driving.
