We therefore invite you to step aboard the famous Belmond British Pullman train for a day of fun, mystery, adventure and nostalgia, as you glide through the English countryside – trying to fathom out who is the murderer amongst our fellow passengers!

With its beautifully restored marquetry, crystal glass and deep upholstered armchairs, the Pullman carriages provide a unique and original setting for all kinds of social occasions. As an extra personal touch, we normally have our own Solent Events carriage too!

As each carriage, dates from the 1920s & 1930s and is staffed by the Pullman’s famous, loyal and immaculately liveried stewards, you will relish the majestic comfort of a sumptuous armchair whilst admiring the intricate marquetry, woven brass luggage racks, gleaming crystal and silken lampshades that transport you back to a more gracious age. ‘Travel’ was so much more than just simply to arrive!

The moment you settle in, this scintillating murder mystery combines luxurious comfort, glamour, and a dash of adventure, curated by a world-leading theatrical production company. 

Your journey will take you past farms, fields and orchards where some of Kent’s most famous specialities are produced. As you travel, you’ll be tasting an array of these specialities on Head Chef Jon Freeman’s imaginative seasonal menu. But first, to toast the start of the adventure: a half-bottle per person of English champagne (non-alcoholic alternatives will also be available). The chalky Kent soil is very similar to that of the Champagne terroir. In fact, can you keep a secret? …… even the famous champagne houses in France are starting to plant vineyards in Kent …. so, your flute of British Fizz promises to be exceptional!

The route takes you past rolling hills, forests, towns, villages and the sea, giving you a rich smorgasbord of vistas. Take the opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy convivial conversations with your companions and other guests. Coffee is served before you arrive back into London Victoria station for your journey’s end.

As always, our luxury transport will whisk you off to London from four local pick-ups. If time permits, a welcome complimentary coffee and a freshen-up in the Hilton Hotel opposite. Glamour and excitement builds across the road on platform 2 of Victoria Station.  After a complimentary glass of Kent  juice in the Orient Express lounge, you will be ready to meet our personal stewards aboard one of the stately carriages.
