We’re getting very excited as we’re off to another delightful UK island in late summer 2025 – to the sunshine island of JERSEY – by luxury coach – so no flying! 
Jersey is full of natural beauty, from breathtaking coastlines with rugged cliffs and golden sands, to bustling harbour towns and quaint country lanes. Offering the best of both worlds with its fabulous French climate and blissful British charm, Jersey makes for an unforgettable holiday destination with the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure.

The Channel Islands make up an archipelago of islands nestling in the Bay of St Malo, off France’s Normandy coast. They’re made up of Jersey and the islands of Guernsey including Alderney, Sark, Herm & Lihou; each with their own unique character. This will be first time Solent Events on Tour has ventured to the Channel Islands, so please  join us!

The 4* Greenhills Country House Hotel is a traditional country hotel nestled in a peaceful rural setting in St Peter. Enjoy comfortable, luxurious rooms in this hotel, with the very highest standards of service.

St Peter is one of the twelve parishes of Jersey, approximately 6.5 kilometres north-west of St Helier. The parish has a population of just 5,003. It’s the only parish with two separate coastlines, stretching from St Ouen’s Bay in the west to St Aubin’s Bay in the south. A large portion of the parish is occupied by Jersey Airport.

Or perhaps hide away with a cool drink or two.From breakfast coffee to a cool drink at sunset, the pool terrace is a beautiful spot for al fresco indulgence. 

ROOMS: The 33 bedrooms are finely furnished and charming, combining modern comforts with the elegance of an English country home. Each room has its own distinctive character, with  exceptionally comfortable beds and superb, modern bathrooms. You can choose from either king size or twin beds, with duvets and 100% cotton bed linen.Solent Events has reserved Garden Rooms and two upgraded Superior rooms. Each room boasts King size or twin beds; Complimentary Wi-Fi; Satellite TV; Luxurious bathrobes; Pure cotton bed linen; Duck down duvets; The White Company toiletries; Tea & coffee-making facilities with Homemade biscuits; Mineral water; Electronic safe; Hairdryer.
The five Superior Rooms are larger, with a lounge area included, sumptuous super king size or twin beds, and bathrooms with bath & walk-in shower.
Solent Events has reserved Garden Rooms and two Superior Rooms.
THE GREENHILLS BAR: You’ll never want to leave this bar! A welcome sight as you enter the hotel, it’s a beautifully designed space, plentifully stocked with a fine selection of ales, wines & spirits. Make yourself at home in a corner with a wine and a book, or prop up the elegant bar with friends and a glass of something stronger. Locally made spirits, classic single malt whiskies, the finest French brandies, exotic liqueurs and more adorn the shelves. Go on a veritable world tour of drinking delight in the capable hands of the barman, who loves to rustle up a delicious cocktail or two – and with 20 varieties of speciality gin, which one will you choose?!
RESTAURANT: At the Greenhills 2 AA Rosette Restaurant, you’ll dine on the very finest locally sourced produce, crafted into stunning menus. Our menus feature seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, prepared with imagination and skill to deliver exceptional cuisine. Signature dishes incorporate unique flavours, colours and textures and are always presented with stylish flair. The Greenhills Restaurant embodies the essence of a classic country house hotel with a contemporary touch, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The tasteful and stylish furnishings and décor provide the perfect backdrop for delicious cuisine and exceptional service, making for a truly memorable dining experience.
