THIS IS HOW WE MANAGED OUR BI-MONTHLY LUNCH IN APRIL 2020 DURING LOCKDOWN.
It was defnitely a very different experience, but what fun we had!
WE TRANSFORMED IT INTO A ‘STAY-AT-HOME’ CLUB-21 LUNCH
Delivered to the comfort of our own homes by Ray & his team at The Anglesey Hotel.
We were not going to be ‘defeated’ by a little Lockdown!
Lin was also interviewed LIVE on Radio Solent and mentioned on Wave 105!
We’re still going strong in 2025, but things have definitely changed! Everything, including
Away-Days, Theatres and holidays are much more expensive for a start.
We still love eating out. We still enjoy ‘LIVE’ theatre and we still get excited about jettng off on wonderful adventures Worldwide. In fact, we’re doing what we like to do best,
which of course is LIVING LIFE TO THE FULL – whilst we still can!

Bobby’s is located on the LHS, at the Town end of Stoke Road, opposite the snooker club (before Walpole Park and Morrisons).
PARKING: The best place to park is along Jamaica Place (off Stoke Road/Shatesbury Rd by Waitrose), as there are 2 FREE car parks available. Both are only a short walk to Bobby’s.
Jamaica Place South Short Stay Car Park. Parking is FREE for 3 hours. Limited to 3-hours, no return in 2-hours and further down the road,
Jamaica Place North Short Stay Car Park. Parking is also FREE for 3 hours. Limited to 3-hours, no return in 2-hours.
