In our UK office, we have guidelines in place to keep the usage of paper at a minimum, recycle most of the paper we use, are sourcing environmentally friendly office and marketing supplies wherever possible, and facilitate alternative and sustainable modes of transport to work.
Wendy Wu Tours has also teamed up with JP Morgan’s Climate Care to enable our customers to offset some of the greenhouse gas emissions caused by their holiday and to play a part in tackling climate change. We ourselves are off-setting 10 tonnes of CO2 emissions every year to make up for some of the carbon footprint caused by our office. Day 2 – 1120 Arrive Delhi (Delhi +5.30hrs UK)
On arrival in Delhi, we will be transferred to our hotel. After breakfast we will start our day in Old Delhi to view the Red Fort from outside before walking through Chandni Chowk, savouring the ambience of the oriental, crowded bazaar. Continue to India’s largest mosque, Jama Masjid, built in 1656 AD. Marvel at the magnificent architecture made up of three domes, three large gates, two 40 metre high minarets made of sandstone and marble and a courtyard that can hold up to 26,000 people.
Friday 01 November Agra B, D 5* Crystal Sarovar Premiere Agra Hotel (Deluxe Room)
Day 3 – This morning, we visit the India Gate, a memorial to the Indian servicemen who died in World War I, continuing to Humayun’s Tomb (the second Mughal Emperor) built in the mid-16th-century. This tomb is the first great example of a Mughal garden tomb and was the inspiration for several monuments such as the incomparable Taj Mahal. End our touring in Delhi with a visit to the always busy and jampacked Connaught Markets, with linen, clothing, saris, handicrafts, jewellery, books, home wares and everything in between. After, we will be transferred by road to our hotel in Agra. On arrival we will enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Saturday 02 November Agra B, D 5* Crystal Sarovar Premiere Agra Hotel (Deluxe Room)
Day 4 – The most iconic sight in India is surely the Taj Mahal and the reason most people visit Agra, so we will rise early to experience this icon at sunrise. We will return to our hotel for breakfast, freshen up and later visit a marble inlay workshop and learn about the intricate skill of laying marble, similar to the Taj Mahal. Situated on the West bank of the Yamuna River is the Agra Fort, founded in the 16th century by Emperor Akbar the Great, which we will visit in the afternoon.
Sunday 03 November Ranthambore B, L, D 5* Anuraga Palace Treehouse Resort (Deluxe Room)
Day 5 – This morning, we will be met and transferred by road to Ranthambore. En route, we will visit Fatehpur Sikri. Located 40km from Agra, Whilst here you visit the remarkably well preserved and graceful buildings within the Ghost City including the Jama Masjid, tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal Palace and other palaces that speak of the grandeur and splendour of the Mughal Empire at the height of its power. After, we will continue by train & coach to Ranthambore. TBC On arrival, check in and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.
Monday 04 November Ranthambore B, L, D 5* Anuraga Palace Treehouse Resort (Deluxe Room)
Day 6 – A memorable day is on the cards, with morning and afternoon safaris in Ranthambore National Park, said to be the best game reserve in India. With the help of a Local Guide we will look for wildlife including crocodile, hyena, jackal and more. If we’re lucky we may spot the elusive tiger or the even rarer leopard. Photo ID will be required for this visit.
Tuesday 05 November Jaipur B, L, D 5* Hotel Royal Orchid Central – Jaipur (Deluxe Room)
Day 7 – Our grand tour continues this morning as we drive to the famous ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur, with a stop en route in the village of Abhaneri. Here we’ll admire the unique carved stepwells, an ancient water storage system constructed to provide a water supply during dry periods.
Wednesday 06 November Jaipur B, D 5* Hotel Royal Orchid Central – Jaipur (Deluxe Room)
Day 8 – We will start with a brief photo stop at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), a five-story palace, before continuing to Amber Fort – by jeep. Before returning to the hotel, you will stop for some shopping inside the walled city, where villagers from around Jaipur come to sell and trade their produce. The rest of the evening is free at your leisure.
Thursday 07 November Bangalore B, D 5* Hotel Royal Orchid – Bangalore (Club Room)
Day 9 – Today, we will be met for our transfer to the airport for an onward flight to Bangalore. On arrival, we will be transferred to our hotel for check-in, enjoying the remainder of the day at leisure.
The capital of the state of Karnataka, Bangalore (or Bengaluru) is known as the ‘Garden City’ because of its countless parks and avenues of Jacaranda, Gulmohur and Cassia. Cosmopolitan Bangalore is one of India’s most progressive and developed cities, blessed with a benevolent climate and a burgeoning drinking, dining and shopping area.
Friday 08 November Coorg B, D 5* Windflower Resort & Spa (Studio)
Day 10 – After breakfast we drive to Coorg, visiting the Bylakuppe Coffee County en route. On arrival at our hotel in Coorg, we check in and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure
Saturday 09 November Coorg B, D 5* Windflower Resort & Spa (Studio)
Day 11– After breakfast, we proceed to the Abbi Falls that are a must visit in tours to Coorg. Also the Raj’s Seat from where you can enjoy panoramic views of the misty Coorg valley. .
Sunday 10 November Hassan B, D 4* Hoysala Village, Hassan (Superior Cottage)
Day 12 – Today we head 163km west to Hassan with the first stop being a visit to Sravanabelagola, one of the most revered Jain pilgrimage centres. Climb the 650 steps to the top of the temple where the great statue of Sri Gomatswara, also known as Lord Bahubali, stands as the tallest free-standing statue in the world. The day finishes with a visit to the 12th-century temples of Belur and Halebid. Belur is located on the banks of the River Yagachi and is well known for its temples.
Monday 11 November Mysore B, D 4* Country Inn & Suites by Radisson (Superior
Day 13 – The fabled city of Mysore is our next destination. We will head out on a wonderful tour this afternoon, with spectacular sights including the opulent city palace.
Tuesday 12 November Cochin B, D 5* Kochi Marriott Hotel (Deluxe Room)
Day 14 – We’re going to head back to Bangalore by road today. En route we’ll visit Srirangapatnam, the island fortress of the warrior King Tipu Sultan, and the celebrated Sri Ranganathswamy Temple. From Bangalore we’ll fly to Cochin (Kochi), in the beautiful region of Kerala
Wednesday 13 November Cochin B, L, D 5* Kochi Marriott Hotel (Deluxe Room)
Day 15 – We’ll get to know Cochin today, with lunch included, on a morning tour with highlights including the Jewish Quarter, the Dutch Palace and St Francis Church. This is where Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama was originally buried. This evening, we will enjoy a Kathakali dance show, with characters divided into the noble, wicked and grotesque wearing extravagant costumes.
Thursday 14 November Kovalam Beach area B, D 4* Uday Samudra Leisure Beach Hotel & Spa (Deluxe Rm)
Day 16 – This morning, we will be met and transferred by road to Kovalam. Kovalam is our final base for a few days before heading home, but en route we will enjoy a relaxing 2/3 hour cruise on Kerala’s tranquil palm-fringed backwaters. Heaven! After which we continue to our hotel in Kovalam. Today, Kovalam Beach is known as the ‘Paradise of the South’, so after, check in we enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.
Friday 15 November Kovalam Beach area B, D 4* Uday Samudra Leisure Beach Hotel & Spa (Deluxe Rm)
Day 17 – Our 4* Udai Samudra Leisure Beach Hotel & Spa in Kovalam is just the place to choose some ‘me’ time – on the beach, relaxing by the pool or having a massage, so enjoy the whole day at leisure.
Saturday 16 November Kovalam/Mumbai/UK B
Day 18 – Today we’ll fly to Mumbai, where there’s time for an exciting afternoon orientation tour of this fascinating city, with dinner, before we transfer you to the airport for our overnight direct 0300 flight back to London.

Day 19 – 0715 We will arrive back in the UK today with coach transfer back to home area.
