We absolutely LOVED ’58th Street’ (the ultimate 1930s New York Jazz experience) and Le Chat Noir (an indulgent 1890’s Paris Nightclub!) and are currently looking forward to the Great Christmas Feast (A Victorian Christmas Eve with Charles Dickens) in early December, but as Spring 2027 breaks, we’ll venture into the grand, dark and mysterious Victorian era of Sherlock Holmes!
Next April, we step inside 221B Baker Street, London, into a grand Victorian world, where dark secrets and decadent dining collide ……
It’s London, 1889. Driven by lurid tabloid headlines, sightings of the “Baskerville Hound” are tearing the nation apart. Holmes and Watson make their move: a press conference at 221B Baker Street.
It will be another intoxicating blend of world‑class performance, immersive theatre, and haute cuisine — a spectacular only‑in‑London experience with The Lost Estate.
You are the elite of Victorian London, summoned to 221B Baker Street to hear the truth behind The Hound Of The Baskervilles in the Baskerville case reimagined!
It’s London 1889. Driven by lurid tabloid headlines, sightings of the “Baskerville Hound” are tearing the nation apart. Holmes and Watson make their move: a press conference at 221B Baker Street. Finally, the truth of The Hound Of The Baskervilles will be revealed …..
As the ‘press conference’ escalates well beyond its planned half hour, Holmes’ housekeeper, Mrs Hudson, is forced to improvise – in style. With ingenuity (and a favour from London’s grandest dining establishment), she conjures three decadent courses of Victorian fine dining.
Produced by London’s “immersive heavyweights”, comes an afternoon of theatre, fine dining, live music, mixology … and murder, so take that step with us inside 221b Baker Street and witness a grand immersive world of breathtaking detail -filled with strange tales, experiments, music and secrets from across the Sherlock Holmes canon.
Indulgent cocktails draw you deeper into the world, drawn from the 221B Liquor Cabinet and forgotten Victorian manuals of mixology.
This is a world‑class, ‘only‑in‑London’ experience, which includes a 3-course fine-dining menu, woven into the heart of the story!
‘Private’ Dining Tables Our tables, right in the heart of 221B, surround the central stage as the experience unfolds around us. As usual, we will be in the heart of the action whilst enjoying a included 3-course Victorian fine-dining menu cooked by ‘Mrs Hudson’, plus 3+ hours of immersive murder and mystery. What more could one want?!
Companions will be seated together within our group, on tables of 2, but please indicate on the booking form if you have a preference who to sit with/next to, but please feel free to reserve a ‘solo’ place, as we will easily be able to pair you!
Food: Dine in Victorian Splendour as live music and theatre unfold around you. Mrs Hudson has made arrangements with the renowned Simpson’s-in-the-Strand to provide a supper befitting such esteemed company. Two splendid courses arrive beneath the restaurant’s famous silver domes.
Pudding, however, proves a rather more improvised affair, with the press conference running rather longer than anticipated … finishing with an ‘optional’ Cheese Course from the decadent Cheese Trolley (pay on day).
The 221b Liqueur Cabinet serves an extensive wine, cocktail & spirit list … but for those abstaining, Hudson’s Restoratives offer a selection of invigorators, revitalizers and pick-me-ups, all containing less than 0.5% alcohol.
From a morning Sour to a midnight Dram, Mrs Hudson has a favourite for every hour. Within her lodgers liqueur cabinet lie some seriously considered cocktails, inspired by forgotten Victorian drinking manuals and curious nineteenth-century concoctions. Served with a distinctly Hudson-ian twist.
Dress Code:
Smart casual or semi-formal attire is recommended for the evening of Victorian dining and theatre.
Themed Attire (Optional): Guests are encouraged to lean into the Victorian-era fashion, late-19th-century styles, Hound of the Baskervelles aesthetic, with period-inspired suits, waistcoats, vintage gowns or Sherlock type detective accessories.
Please avoid casual wear – such as sneakers, shorts, or sportswear.
AVAILABILITY: We aim to keep an ‘exclusive’ feel to this event, so only a limited number of places have been reserved.
As you can imagine, ‘221b Baker St’ is not the easiest of places to get to at Beaumont Avenue, London, or find on your own, unless you go overnight – which is such a hassle! So, why not make it easy on yourself and join us?
Dietary Requirements: Vegetarian, vegan, and free‑from options available.
Guests must submit dietary requirements a minimum of 72 hours before the performance
Photography: A Lost Estate photographer is available to take your picture at the start of the evening, and we ask that phones and other modern devices be kept hidden.
The Great Murder Mystery is based on Sherlock Holmes and The Hounds of The Baskervilles is an immersive 1890s fantasy world and our team work incredibly hard to protect the historical details of the experience.
